We take a more in-depth look at Sin, Cos, and Tan during this lesson, in which we continue our unit on right triangle trig. We learn how we can use these ratios to find the length of missing sides and the measures of missing angles in right triangles.
In this lesson, we get an introduction to the three basic trigonometric functions: Sine, Cosine, and Tangent. We can use SOH-CAH-TOA to help us remember the relationships between the opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse sides of a right triangle.
